On Tuesday, April 25, 2017 Macedonia Baptist Church will kickoff “Justice Tuesdays,” weekly protests against Montgomery County’s continuing tolerance, facilitation of and duplicity in the desecration of the Bethesda African Cemetery on River Road. The demonstrations will alternately target the County Executive, the Planning Council president, the Planning Board and Planning Department to highlight each department’s complicity in a vast cover-up of documentation that identifies the existence, location and likelihood of there still being human remains where developer Equity One plans to build a parking garage.

This week's theme will be to announce the church’s position on the mediation process the county proposed earlier this month. Bring signs! This week's protest will start with a press conference at County Executive Ike Leggett's office:
