Raise your voices against street harassment by joining Collective Action for Safe Spaces, the DC Rape Crisis Center, and more for a rally to end street harassment and pass the Street Harassment Prevention Act!
The anti-violence movement has historically pitted the safety of different communities against each other. Women who are black, Latinx, queer, trans, Muslim, immigrants, sex workers, homeless, or all of the above cannot separate their other layers of marginalization from their womanhood. If solutions to violence against women cause violence against other marginalized communities, they're not solutions. That's why the Street Harassment Prevention Act will bring diverse groups together to create community-based solutions to make public spaces safe for EVERYONE.
Come Saturday to learn strategies for stopping harassment and support community-based, non-criminal solutions to end street harassment!
