Calling all bike babes: This race is for you and about you.

For the past 4(?) years, DC has held all-women alleycat races in March to celebrate women's history month. Following in that tradition, Rolling Resistance will be a chance for Women/Trans/Femme (WTF) people to explore dc on their bicycles, compete for prizes, and have a great time.

(cis)Male Allies: Volunteer to host a checkpoint or help out day of the race!

Alleycat races are urban cycling scavenger hunts originating from bike messenger culture. The destinations of this race will include places, activities and symbols important to WTF history. The route will be a secret until the day of the race and there will be options for varying skill levels. Bring a bag, lock and pen - there will be tasks to complete!

So far, this year has been rough on the rights of women, trans, and non-binary folk. This event will raise money for an organization that will continue to provide much needed services: HIPS.

All folks hoping to host a checkpoint - please fill out this survey so we can get you on the course map!
