Join OYE and EcoViva on Friday, May 19, for a special evening with musician Michael Romero.

Austin-based Michael Romero (www.michaelromeromusic.com) is an accomplished singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist driven by a desire for social change. Romero will play songs by the late Honduran folk singer Guillermo Anderson.

Enjoy great music and lend your support to two organizations working with youth groups in Honduras and El Salvador: the Organization for Youth Empowerment, OYE (www.oyehonduras.org), and EcoViva (www.ecoviva.org).

Tickets are $15 in advance through Eventbrite, $20 at the door, and $10 for students.

Funds raised will enable young delegates from each organization to participate in a bilateral exchange to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas. Youth delegates will collaborate during two multi-day retreats in Honduras and later El Salvador to learn from each other about leadership, community organizing, gender equality, and environmental stewardship.

Your support will help give capable young leaders the tools they need to create peace and prosperity in Central America.
